8Get ready for another exciting summer of basketball with Havertown Hoops! We offer separate intramural leagues for boys and girls in grades 4-12 with teams formed based on evaluations.

NEW THIS YEAR: 3v3 League for Boys & Girls High School Divisions!

• 9th-10th & 11th-12th Grade Boys & Girls will play 3v3 half-court.
• Captain’s Draft! Players can select to be a captain during registration and attend the Captain’s Draft the week of May 19th to pick their own team of 7-8 players.
• 3v3 league rules will be posted soon.

Opens: Sunday, April 6 at 4:15 PM (Haverford residents only); Non-Residents April 16th.
Closes: Monday, May 12
Early Bird Discount: Register before April 22 to receive $20 off!

Individual registration only. Players will be placed on teams after evaluations.

Saturday, May 17

• 4th Grade Boys: 10:00 – 11:00 AM
• 5th & 6th Grade Boys: 11:20 AM – 12:50 PM
• 7th & 8th Grade Boys: 1:10 – 2:20 PM
• 9th-12th Grade Boys: 2:45 – 3:45 PM

Sunday, May 18

• 4th-8th Grade Girls: 9:00 – 10:00 AM
• 9th-12th Grade Girls: 10:15 – 11:15 AM

Evaluation details will be emailed prior to the season.

League Schedule & Locations

Season Begins: June 2 - July 24
Games Played at: Bailey Park, Highland Farms Park (Coopertown), Westgate Park, & CREC
Games are held on weeknights (Monday - Thursday).

Each division will play 2 games per week on the same 2 days throughout the season to maintain a consistent schedule. Example: Mondays and Wednesdays or Tuesdays and Thursdays

Interested in Volunteer Coaching?

Coaches receive a 20% refund on player registration if selected.
Must attend the Coaches Draft the week of May 19th to select a team.
Coaches who attend evaluations will receive player info to help with team selection.

The Havertown Hoops Coaching Standard

Havertown Hoops is a recreation basketball league designed for players to have fun and enjoy the game.

Coaching in Havertown Hoops comes with a responsibility to lead by example. We expect all coaches to demonstrate sportsmanship toward players, other coaches, staff, and especially referees.

This league is about more than just basketball—it’s about helping young athletes grow in confidence, teamwork, and respect for the game and those around them. Our goal is to instill values that extend beyond the court and into our community.
