Volunteer coaches are the backbone of our recreation sports leagues.  Without the support from local individuals, out leagues would not be what they are today.  This is a great opportunity to get involved in the Haverford Township community and one that does not require an extensive background in basketball.  We want to provide those interested, all the tools needed to become a coach in our youth basketball league.

Becoming a coach, gives the opportunity to make an impact in the youth in our community, teach life and teamwork lessons, and derive physical, mental and emotional benefits.  Often times, a youth sports coach is the person who are often a young person's first experience of a sport.
